Leah & Ben at The River Café: A Colorful Summer Wedding Beneath the Brooklyn Bridge

Leah and Ben celebrated their wedding on July 25th, 2025, at one of New York City’s most iconic waterfront venues—The River Café in Brooklyn. Nestled right beneath the Brooklyn Bridge, this romantic spot gave their day an incredible mix of history, skyline views, and city energy. For couples searching for a Brooklyn wedding venue with skyline views, it really doesn’t get more timeless than this.

Dean Street Daisies brought bold, joyful color to the day with their vibrant floral designs. Against the timeless backdrop of the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan skyline, the florals added a playful contrast that felt both fresh and celebratory. Guests were also treated to something truly unique—live painted portraits by artist Mollie Fox, a trend we’re seeing more and more often at weddings. Watching Mollie capture each guest on paper became a highlight of the evening and left everyone with a one-of-a-kind keepsake.

As a Brooklyn wedding photographer, I couldn’t have asked for a better setting. We photographed Leah and Ben’s portraits along the waterfront, with the Brooklyn Bridge stretching above them. Later, as the sun dipped lower, the sky turned shades of pink and gold, giving us the kind of sunset wedding portraits us New York City photographers dream about.

Between the vibrant flowers, live art, and a skyline that put on its own show, Leah and Ben’s wedding was a blend of creativity, romance, and pure New York magic. It was a night where every detail reflected their personality, and every moment felt unforgettable. For couples planning a wedding at The River Café in Brooklyn, Leah and Ben’s day proves just how breathtaking this venue can be.
